Promoting Māori and Pasifika into health, science and technology


A one day symposium looking at ways to support and encourage Māori and Pasifika students at secondary and tertiary level into health, science and technology careers was held in Wellington on Friday 4 March 2005. It was hosted by the Māori Health and Disability Workforce Sub-committee of the Health Workforce Advisory Committee, together with the Education Committee of the Royal Society of New Zealand.
